On Friday, September 6 sasgov hosted its first happy hour to ring in the academic new year! We kicked things off at 8 at Bernie's Restaurant and Bar, with drinks and snacks. Later, we took advantage of the cool weather to hang out at the fire pit outside, while some of us tried our hand at pool for the first time! Special thanks to a rep in the music department for teaching us the rules.
We loved celebrating with all of our colleagues in different departments and coming together- whether we were away for fieldwork in the summer or conducting lab research here in Philly, it was festive and fun to catch up with our peers from all different disciplines. Thank you to Johanna Kaiser, our vp of social, for organizing such a wonderful evening!
