Miranda Priestly has nothing on the glamorous professionalism of this year’s Penn Fashion Show, organized - once again - by The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. The organizers could not have picked a more suitable venue for such a fancy event: the beautiful Barnes Foundation, where for one night, and one night only, around 40 models, all students from the University of Pennsylvania, strutted the runway dressed in various brands of clothing including Michael Kors and Bonobos. The event was sold out and took place on Friday, March 15th. Starting at 7 pm, people could enter the venue and not only make use of the open bar service, but also visit all floors of the Barnes Foundation's permanent collection. The fashion show started at 8 pm, when the models started walking the runway. There were three changes of outfit throughout the show, with the name of each brand that was being showcased displayed on a screen above the room. After the final walk, all the students-turned-models came out and were cheered by the attendees and the open bar and galleries were made available once again. All the money raised by this charity event will be donated to YouthBuild Philadelphia. It was a complete success!
