Slipping, Sliding, and Skating

Updated: Mar 18, 2019

December 6th was a chilly day to begin with, but SAS students still came out to City Hall's Rothman Ice Rink to join members of SASgov for a fun couple hours of skating. The music was festive, the people cheery, and the hot cider just what was needed to warm up before getting back out on the ice to show off our skating skills. Although the main attraction was for us, of course, the ice rink, Philadelphia is home to an intricately decorated and cozy winter village that contributed to the happy atmosphere among SAS students and other skaters on the ice. After getting off the ice, we took our time exploring the little shops and tasting the hearty food and (even more!) cider that the vendors offered. What a way to spend SASgov's last social event of the semester! We look forward to the New Year and to spending fun moments such as these with other members of the SAS community!
